You mean tint the lens?  No, it cuts light output and is dangerous, as well as is not legal.  If you like the look of darker headlights, remove the lens & paint all the reflective surfaces that aren't functional black.  It'll darken the overall look of the headlights without reducing light output.

Lamin-x your headlights... i did 5% smoke on mine and what that means is it only cuts down the light output by 5% and looks realy bad ass at night....

How does that laminx hold up?  I just ordered some yellow for my fogs..

It's holding up pretty good!!! It's been on for a year... It's got it pits but it's not realy noticable till the lights are on... But it's realy reassuring to see all the pitting and know it's the lamin-x and not my expensive black housings taking the beating!!!

End judgement, lamin-x is way worth it... I will defintaly be buying more next year to redo my headlights!!! Great product...
